A graduate of the University of California, Davis, Joan received her Bachelors degree in Plant Science specializing in Viticulture. Joan then spent several years working in the California wine industry in Sonoma and Napa counties where she continued to hone her craft. In 1984 she moved to Washington State and has continued to work exclusively in the winegrape industry.
She spends her life doing what she loves - helping customers produce the best grapes possible. "I get my pride in producing the best quality with best tonnage," says Joan. With a thirst for knowledge, Joan stays in the forefront of viticulture education by traveling around the world attending seminars and symposiums, touring vineyards and meeting with researchers.
